About Sandy Marsh

I help individuals and couples feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.

My Approach to Therapy

My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can explore what’s going on, at your own pace, and begin to shift what’s no longer working. I'm here to walk beside you - not ahead of you - with care and purpose.

I take a psychodynamic approach, helping you understand how your past experiences shape current patterns. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to offer practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll blend insight with strategy, helping you build more adaptive ways of living.

Some of the areas I work with include:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Self-sabotaging behaviors

  • Addictions and compulsive behaviors

  • Life transitions and existential concerns

This work is tailored to you - helping you move forward with clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of self.

The Heart Behind My Practice

What draws me to this work is a deep respect for our capacity to heal, grow, and change - even when it feels hard or uncertain. I'm inspired by the courage it takes to face what’s painful, look inward, and begin to move toward something more whole.

I bring genuine curiosity and compassion to each session. While we stay present-focused, I honour how the past can shape your inner world and how awareness can create space for healing.

Our work is about helping you understand yourself with clarity and self-kindness, shift old patterns, and build momentum toward a life that feels more authentic and connected.

What to expect

My style is active, collaborative, and grounded in real-life application. I’ll help you make sense of your experiences and give you practical tools to begin using right away - so you don’t have to wait months to feel relief or clarity.

As trust builds, we’ll explore deeper patterns that may be influencing how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. You set the pace - and together we’ll work toward meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your values and goals.
